Cookie Policy

Effective: March 2026

Lioth Foundation uses cookies and similar small data files to operate the lioth.org website and Test App. This policy explains what cookies we use and how you can manage them.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device via your browser. They allow the website to remember information about your session and preferences across page visits.

1. Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website and Test App to function. Without them, core features such as staying logged in would not work. They include:

  • Authentication session cookies. Maintain your login state between page visits so you do not need to sign in repeatedly.
  • Security tokens. Protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and related security risks.

Essential cookies cannot be disabled without preventing the Test App from working correctly.

2. Functional Cookies

We may use functional cookies to remember your preferences and settings within the Test App — for example, display or interface preferences. These cookies do not track you across other websites.

3. Analytics and Performance

The Test App may record basic usage and error data for diagnostic purposes to help us maintain and improve service reliability. We do not currently use third-party advertising networks or behavioural tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View which cookies have been set
  • Block cookies from specific websites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Delete cookies when you close your browser

Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent the Test App from functioning correctly. For browser-specific instructions, consult your browser’s help documentation.

5. Contact

Questions about our use of cookies can be directed to contact@lioth.org.
